AMOP respects your preferences regarding the treatment of the Personal Information it collects. This Policy (“Policy”) allows you to know how AMOP collects and uses your Personal Information, how you can control its use and describes our practise regarding the information collected in the other websites of the Group which are connected together or refer to this Policy (such as websites, software applications, social networks and electronic messages), such as marketing initiatives and offline sales (collectively, “Communication Channels”).

We collect information about you when you register on our website or place a request for the acquisition of products or services. We also collect information when you voluntarily fill in forms, when you subscribe newsletters or when you call us or write to us.

Even though the supplied information is generally treated as private by AMOP, the collected information shall be used in agreement with the regulation for the protection of personal information, during the entire treatment process; it may, however, be necessary to privately transfer Personal Information to other entities, namely Court, and while handling your request we may send your information to, and also, use information from credit and fraud prevention agencies.

You have the right to present a claim before a European Union Control Authority regarding the protection of your Personal Information.

AMOP shall cooperate with the Control Authority providing all information this entity requires to the development of its functions.

The collected information in this website does not involve taking automated decisions, including profiling.

This website does not perform comparisons, interconnections or any other form of interconnecting registered information.

Due to the fact that your personal information may run in an open network, there is the risk of being seen and used by unauthorised third parties.

AMOP will only accept user registry of people who are at least 16 years old. The Communication Channels of the Organization are not aimed at underage users. If you know of any registry made by a minor we will be thankful if you inform us of such a fact so we can immediately proceed to its removal.

The addresses or categories of addressees of your Personal Information, depending on the contact tool in use, are the Marketing and Communication, Sales and Technical Support and Administration Departments. We shall share your personal information with your consent or, if necessary, to conclude any transaction or supply any service you have requested. We also share information with affiliate and subsidiary under the control of AMOP; with sales people who represent us; when demanded by law or to respond to a lawsuit; to protect our clients; to protect lives; to maintain the security of our services; and to protect the property rights or AMOP itself.

Access and correction of your information

 
We want to assure the accuracy and reliability of the information we hold about you.
We trust the User to supply precise and complete information to us as well as to proceed to the update of information regarding any change in the supplied information.

The User has the right to withdraw his/her consent at any given time, without compromising the legality of the treatment of the information based on the previously given consent and the right to request AMOP to access the Personal Information regarding him/her, as well as to rectify or delete it, and the limitation of the treatment in what concerns the User, or the right to oppose to the treatment of information, as well as the right to information portability.

The necessary Personal Information for the enforcement of the contract of which the User is part, toward the fulfilment of juridical obligations to which the Responsible for the Treatment is subject and the ones necessary for the accomplishment of legitimate interest developed by AMOP are not included in the previous paragraph.

Notwithstanding contrary legal dispositions and regulations, Personal Information shall be preserved solely for the minimum period for the purpose of collection or its later treatment, after which it shall be eliminated or, should it be of interest to AMOP, processed for statistical purposes, anonymously, its Bearer being unidentifiable.

Later treatment of Personal Information requires consent for a purpose other than the one the information has been collected for, before that the Responsible for the Treatment of Information shall supply the Bearer with Information about that purpose and other relevant information.

If the requests presented by the User are clearly unfounded or excessive, namely due to its repetitive characteristics, AMOP, in observance of the current legal framework, may demand the payment of a reasonable amount considering administrative costs for the supply of the information or communication or the requested measures or refuse to proceed with the request.
